decisions decisions......

Anyone that knows me knows that i hate making decisions! i just hate it. I wish i wasnt so undecisive. and over some things im not but most of the time i go back and forth with everything. well after trying to decide whether or not i should stay here in logan this summer and get "in-state" (become a utah resident instead of idaho :( so that i wouldnt have to pay out of state tuition next fall) or go back to boise for the summer and go to bsu or idaho state next fall, i finally decided that i am going to stay here and live in logan and work this summer! it makes me sad that i cant be home more this summer with my family, but it feels good to stop worrying about what i am going to do! I will still go home lots im sure :) Yesterday i signed my life away on a housing contract, (now i really really gotta find another job!!!!) but its only $300 bucks for all of summer! yeaaaahhH!!! im excited!

Thursday we went skiing!! (i feel like thats all i talk about on here!) haha. it was snowy all week so me and kar were pretty pumped to go up to all this new snow! there was about 40 inches of new POWDER!! SWEET! neither of us have skiied powder very much soo little did we know we were in for a treat. HA. It was soooooo hard! me legs were dead by the end of the day. not to mention i almost killed myself a few times. The worst incident tho was when were were skiing through the trees, ( really slow, we were being careful) but then i got going to fast and that powder is hard to stop in. i was trying to figure out the best way to go so i could avoid any trees in my path, but then out of no where i swear one jumped out at me, grabbed my ski! (well more like i ran into it) and threw me down! i went flying head first, burried in 2 feet of powder and i was stuck!!! it was sooo funny we both almost peed our pants! after AT LEAST ten minutes i managed to break free, and we skiied away only for kar to tumble and crash a few feet down:) it was a great day.

These last couple of weeks i have been pretty busy.. school. work. skiing. study a little. (that needs to change) a little homework. running. :) that pretty much sums it up!

Jan 20th ish me and kar went down to Salt lake to work for Arc'teryx for a week. It was lots of fun! hard work.. long days but well worth it! We ate lots and lots of yummy food. shopped a lot, but bought nothing. (that is how we always shop) We had some fun talks with grandma dahl! boy is she FUNNY!! we met some cool people! and got some free shoes:)

Yesterday morning we went up to Beaver to ski and it was one of the best days i have had up there. We were only there for 4 hours or so but it was so much fun! the weather was perfect! it was so warm! i was HOT! my hands were even hot. ( which never ever happens) i took off my gloves and they were still warm. it was awesome:) i wish it was always like that skiing. the snow was perfect. the sun was shining and it was warm. i loved it. i took my camera, but i forgot to take pics!!! haha o well.. next time i will. but it looked something like this......

Last night we went to the basketball game!! it was a lot of fun! they are amazing! and still undefeated!! GO AGGIES! i like the games but next time i am taking earplugs or something because there are no words to explain how LOUD the stands are.. its fun but hard on the ears. i had the worst headache!

Back to School!

the day didnt start out the greatest when i woke up at 8:00 and realized that my class was just starting. soo i was a little late. oops.

I am happy right now tho because i just sold my economics book to some guy for $60 bucks!! the book store was only going to give me a pathetic $20.. so yea baby! (thanks for the help kar)

we have figured out that the best way to do it is, wander through the bookstore til you see someone walking around with your same book in thier hand ready to pay a fortune for it and run up to them and sell yours for less!!

It is dumping snow outside, and has been all morning. This is going to be hard to get used to, walking to class at 7:45 in the morning when its only 4 degrees outside

2009!!

The holidays have been great! it has been lots of fun being home with my family, skiing, and hanging out! but im excited to head back to school! i like school, & i am anxious to start my classes

I usually dont make new years resolutions but have soo many thing that i feel like i need to be working on that this year i am going to try it out and hopefully stick with it!!

I have a few:

1. Read scriptures every night

2. Study more/Get at least a 3.5 gpa

3. Beat my last Robie Creek time

4. Become a better cook! (not just dessert) :)

5. Be positive, always

.... thats all.

i love winter!!

Winter is my FAV! i love the snow and christmas, getting lots and lots of yummy treats delivered to my house (thank you:) making good food, SHOPPING!! seeing family! but most of all my FAVORITE thing about winter is SKIING!!! i LOVE it. the past four days i have been skiing, two days at bogus and two days at tamarack. the weather has been kinda crazy but it was all a blast!

*(this was shortly before we got on the upper lift and a crazy windstorm almost took us all out. all four of us couldnt get off! the wind was so strong we were all being blown backwards agaisnt the lift and falling and tripping all over eachother! haha it was so funny none of us could stop laughing. finally the chair swung foward knocking us all in the butt and back and we evuntually got a grip of ourselves and crawled out of the way. it was crazy. if only we had, had the camera!)

I finally got a blog! :) I love reading everyone elses and i figured it would be a good way to keep track of things that happen that i never bother to write down!! everyones blogs are so dang cute! and mine... well isnt and probably wont be but o well. I have been home from school for the past 2 weeks or so for christmas break and wow has it gone by fast! i start school, 2nd semester in about a week! crazy, i cant believe how close we are to jan and the year 2009! i remember thinking how far away 2008 felt, and now its over! i cant believe how fast time goes by. i really do feel like the older i get the faster everything seems to pass. and im barely 20, i cant imagine what its going to be like when im 40:). Christmas was fun this year! christmas eve we played lots of games, opened our x-mas eve pajamas!! ate food, looked at lights, & had a checkers tournament, (which only lasted about 20 min. i chose to play my mom first, thinking it would be an easy win while i let my dad beat kelsey. but just the opposite happened! kels beat my dad and my mom KILLED me. I really am horrible at that game. anyways my mom ended up beating us all! Go mom!! i didnt know she had it in her :)

This last month, i have eaten sooooo many sweets that im constantly craving them now. its not good, and i feel fatso. i finally made myself change into shorts and tank top to get myself in the mood to run and jumped on the treadmill. i only ran 3 miles and about died. but it felt good:)
